Before you start

Know which jobs are not yours

These show the steps, but not every job suits every homeowner. If you are unsure, do not have the right tools, or cannot do it safely, hire somebody. Anything involving gas, structure, or a panel you are not certain how to isolate is a call, not a video — and there is no shame in a job you decided not to do off a ladder.
